Poor leadership and poor management, as nobody is on the same page and every office is run differently. Managers yell about revenue targets before ever reaching or letting people get a good handle on the role. Unprofessional work environment where managers make lewd comments. No process of how to do anything in the system everyone does everything their own way. Overall disorganized mess I would never recommend anyone to work at Zuora Boston.
Everything comes from the top in a company and it will always trickle down to middle management so there's no real individualism in thinking. Upper management has the "old" way of doing things and likes to keep to it at times. I was a contractor at this company and many of the people that I knew were contractors. Everyone said that the same thing once they left. "Thank God"...Says a lot. There were contractors that have been there on and off for 2 years!
I have had the pleasure to work with Zuora for 5 years. It's been a fantastic company to work for. The people are intelligent and driven, and also approachable. It's a young company trying to make its mark on the SaaS industry.

Technical staff and Engineering have no work life balance. Other departments do though. Customer support is expected to work after hours as well. If you do not work outside of normal scheduled hours, management will not work with you on any schedule changes. Lots of internal politics involved which makes working in Customer support difficult. The company itself is awesome and provides free food and lunches. Fast paced environment with lots of changes to the product on a continual basis.

The company's products are well suited in the subscription economy, with hard-working and passionate people and culture. A typical day at work is to ensure the success of every customer that includes the involvement from everyone from Management to individual contributors. Due its tremendous market growth the company is extremely focused on execution with high goals and accountability for each employee.

While I only worked their for the summer, I was brought right into the community and was made to feel like a valuable employee. Everyone there is friendly and on a mission to work together to make the company successful.
