You start at 19 days of PTO (Sick + Vacation) and can roll over up to 5 days at the end of the year. You can also buy / sell up to 5 days per year. I felt that the vacation time provided was quite generous, but there was rarely a time when I felt like I could use it, as there wasn't a work backup system in place. If it was there when you left, it would most likely be on your desk when you returned.

You are told you have sick days but on a case per case basis, however, if you get sick more than once or twice a year you are fired. They are not sympathetic towards people. A lady had cancer and was doing her chemotherapy, however her sick days were used up before she can finish her treatment and she had to go to work feeling sick and they didn't care.

Sick days are like PTO. You earn PTO as you work. 3 -4 weeks is what you get but you are frowned upon for taking them.
