I am a current employee at Accenture who passed the initial backgroud checks when I joined the firm, but I recently had a conviction of a DUI which was a felony come up on a client background check. The actual DUI happened before I was hired but as court processes often are, the actual conviction didn't happen til over a year later. Am I in danger of losing my job at the company? Getting rolled off my current project wouldn't be a huge deal for me, but getting fired would be devastating. Thought...

Hi! I've been recently selected to join Accenture as a fresher. On my profile page at Accenture's website I can see that workforce is solutions and "Track" is 'Client Delivery & Operations'. Can someone tell me what's the work about? Is it related to development or testing or something else? We were told that we will be joining as Associate Software Engineers.
Is it necessary to wear a skirted suit or is a pantsuit acceptable?
I received an initial e-mail from 2 separate Accenture recruiters within 2 days requesting I send them my phone number and 2-3 times that I could speak with them for a 30 minute time period for an initial phone interview (for 2 separate positions) and then never heard back from either recruiter. I applied directly on the company website. Does anyone know how long the recruiters wait before they schedule your initial phone interviews after contacting you?
Hi !I had applied for a position with Accenture recently and as per the Job Description ,they wouldn't do any sponsorship for the work permit/Visa.I was told by the recruiter that they do the H1B transfer for certain practices in Accenture and it varies from practice to practices .But after my last round ,I am not receiving any updates at all :(.Can somebody help me with any information useful on these grounds. Thanks in AdvanceShiva
What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Accenture (USA) stack up against the competition?
I am an IT programmer with 12+ years with Oracle etc. I am studying Oracle ADF, SOA, BPM. Given that I am new to these technologies, I may have to pay the dues by doing a 100% travel job. What I was curious about whether people have time in the evenings to unwind, go to the hotel gym, or whether you are basically working 100% of the time. I met a woman working at Deloitte who said she worked constantly, but she was a manager. Any personal experiences?
the application online did not ask me about any previous records and neither did any of the interviews in the interview process. I have completed all community service and have no restrictions. My question is, do they hire people with a dui on their record? Also, should i tell HR now about the record or wait till I get an offer?
does anybody know about the policy of accenture hiring with a dui on record?i was looking to get into accenture.. but unfortunately got a dui, it was a dumb mistake and obviously immature move on my part. i realize the dangers of it and am glad nobody got injured or hurt and i learned from my mistake, its still in the judicial process and i was told it will most likely be lowered to reckless driving, but does anybody have any input on it?
I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state of VA government job located in Richmond. The second job is with Accenture as a pricing analyst in Arlington, VA. I am trying to decide if that the job security offered by the state job (salart of 50K) is worth giving up the higher salary (60K) of the analyst job. They are both in different areas of business, the state job being a budget analyst, and the Accentur...
Do you work at Accenture? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and the second job is with Accenture as an analyst. Each job would take my career in a different career path one more toward contracting and the other towards budgeting. Both of the jobs appear to be pretty stable but both provide opportunities. Just not sure if working for the state would provide with the same network and opportunities as th...
Federal Pricing Analyst job offer with Accenture in DC office or Budget Analyst job with State of VA
I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and is located in a city where I currently live. The second job is with Accenture as an analyst. I currently work in the Sales Industry and am pursuing my MBA and want to transition into business consulting. I unfortunately do not have any "in" with any of the big five and have sent out numerous resumes. Does any one have any contacts w/in Accenture such as recruiters or ideas as to how to pursue a career w/ them?
By the way, I am a new college graduate. All I have under my belt are a couple of internships and a minimum wage job I held in high school.
I have a skills and a behavioral interview coming up for SAP MM PP manager. Can anybody tell me what to expect and share their experiences?

HELP!!!I am on H1B with Company A and attended interviews with Accenture. Accenture has mentioned in their job description - "Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa".I understand that Accenture does not sponsor fresh H1B. However, is it possible for transfering H1B (corp-to-corp) as it does not involved direct sponsorship? Please clarify...Thanks
I know this is a bit off topic but I've been tormented by an Accenture ex-employee (now working for a chemical company). My only chance in the lawsuit is that Accenture keeps quite a few years of his emails. He is spanish and he was based in Spain. If you could give me this information I would be really grateful as the company hasn't been of much help as this info is considered confidential.Have a nice weekend.
I have had a series of interviews with Accenture - four telephone and two in person with executives. How long does it normally take for them to make an offer after final interviews? Should I assume since a week has passed that I won't be receiving an offer? Thank you.
Hi all. Just wondering if the culture varies between business units i.e. is services any different to the other units? And how so?And most of the responses are very US centric, I'd ber interested in hearing from people in the UK as geography is sure to play a part.Cheers
Can anyone provide me with some insight about how Alumni referrals at Accenture work?
Is it just me or this company very difficult to get a response out of?I was able to get my foot in the door and have not had an opportunity since then. I have to say I was not at all impressed with the recruiter but they hiring methodology is not right.
