I am a recent grad with a bachelors degree and secret clearance trying to obtain employment with Booz Allen. I was referred to the company and within a day of the recruiter receiving my resume, she called to set up an interview for later this week. I am very surprised by the speed at which this is going seeing as I have had no phone interview (just the call for the interview time) and the recruiter stated that this will be a one time interview and after that the decision will be made. I am hop...

Does anyone have any tips or advice on obtaining a career at BAH? I know this is a large firm and I have been looking for the best connections and advice for my search. Any advice would be appreciated!
I have just been offered an entry-level position at the Crystal City (Arlington) office. I was curious about the dress code for women - when I was there it varied anywhere from suits to more casual khakis. What exactly is allowed? Are there casual Fridays? I'm coming straight out of college and as you can imagine most of my clothes are definitely on the "casual" side - not inappropriate by any means but still unsure. Can we wear nice knee-length skirts or dresses in the summer (no spaghetti stra...

I recently accepted an S&O Consultant position with BAH. My employment is contingent upon obtaining a Secret Security Clearance. I am recent college grad, good credit, little foreign travel and no foreign contacts. Never been arrested, etc etc. Zero red flags on my SF86. I was extremely detailed with every section and do not believe I left anything out. So I hope the investigator can complete it ASAP.I submitted my SF86 via e-QIP last week, sent in my authorization forms and fingerprinted. That ...

The contract is for 4-6months. There is no guarantee that it will lead to a permanent position. Thou I am hoping that it does. I have applied for several posistions at BAH in the past with no response until now. Has anyone started at BAH this way? Am I getting my hopes high? I wpuld like to know in case I...

I stumbled onto this page:www.boozallen.com/careers/topjobs/jmo-careersAnd I am just trying to get a feel for what level of job one would come in as, and in the DC area what one could expect in terms of salary. Let's assume a normal applicant has 5 years of experience and a Master's degree, likely an MBA or something comparable business or finance, and probably at least a basic clearance. Can anybody chime in? Has anybody used this program?
I've been with Booz Allen for 5 years now. I'm burnt out on the defense contracting industry and seeking employment in a completely different industry. I tried finding new positiongs within the firm, but the Career Mobility team is a joke! I've send my resume to hiring managers all over the DC metro area and told them that I want to try new things even if it means applying to Level 1 positions (I am at Level 2 right now). In terms of our 401K account, I am currently 80% vested. Of course I ...

During my time at NIH i decided i did not want to go back to complete my surgical residency, instead i am considering a medical consulting position at BAH in Maryland.I've had two interview seccsions with two separate teams. I'm very interested in working at Booz Allen Hamilton and feel that I have the right skills to be successful. One concern I have is that much of the work seems to be focused in the defense/military industry. My religion precludes me from working in these fields, and I am wondering if there is any way I can work/be successful at BAH while avoiding these fields. If so, how would one broach this subject with a recruiter and during an interview?

I've been working in financial management for a consulting firm for a few years, and I have a TS/SCI and a degree in international relations. Would it be easy to move into Intelligence Analysis after being there for a year or so?
