I wanted to to start this new discussion board since being for Delta FAs is fast approaching! We can keep each other updated on timelines and discuss any questions and concerns. I don’t want to give too much detail but I did make it into training this past Spring but was only able to make it through til midterms. I am back in the same boat as most everyone starting out for the first time. So let’s go get those wings!!!

Hello everyone! I'm starting this new forum discussion specifically for 2019 training classes, since all the other threads are continuations of discussions from previous years. If you have any questions about the application process or about life as a Delta flight attendant, feel free to post them here!
Hey!I recently read a ton of threads on the hiring process to become a Delta Flight Attendant. I can honesty say the threads are about 88%-90% accurate Besides the negativity among others, they where extremely helpful and got me to where I am right now. So currently I am anxiously waiting for my f2f interview thats schedule this December. While on my "how to ace this interview search" (lol) I had trouble finding an active thread regarding comments and conversations on this nerve-racking day. So ...
I received the conditional offer from Delta and have been biting my nails for three weeks trying to be patient and wait for USIS to finish up my background check. I figured I would start a thread all the people who are waiting so patiently for our start dates, so we can prevent unnecessary amounts of panic on our parts 🙂
I can optimistically say, I am a Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant. I created this forum to bring together a sisterhood (and brotherhood) of those interested in becoming a part of the Delta family. Together, we can make a difference in sharing experiences, providing facts, giving advice, and sharing information about the interview process. As I begin my career, I will be able to provide updates and fact check any questions you may have about what its like in the life of a Delta Air Lines Flight A...

I wanted to start a new thread for 2018 Delta FA prospects. I am posting my timeline below for informational purposes for other prospects/applicants to see. In the research that I have done since I applied, there is no way of predicting a timeline on your own process by compairing to others. I believe the information posted on these threads will help alleviate some anxiety towards the anticipation, but in no way will it help you figure out when you'll hear from Delta. In some cases, I've noticed...
I got contacted for this, too! I am also having little to no luck finding information online, not sure how best prepare for this. I have found a lot of tips from other airlines that do video interviews, but wonder if anyone else has done the video interview with Delta. I would appreciate your feedback! Good luck!

How long does it take to start training for gate agent position with Delta after background check clears? I got my CJO on Oct. 2nd, and filled out all the paperwork the next day. I recently checked online and my job status has switched to "position offered". Does that mean that I got the job? I still haven't gotten an email or call from the Trainers. I attempted to go to the airport and find out but they wouldn't let me go through the gate, they just told me to wait until someone calls. Training is supposed to start next week or the week after. Does anyone have any insight or has anyone experienced ...

However, in the email it states to pick from a range of dates that work best. When I clicked on the link, there was only one option.I was not even in town to make it to the interview. Now I have to reapply. Does anyone know how to reapply for the same job? Thanks.
Just wondering if anyone has applied for this position? It sounds like a good option.
