Hi everyone! Hopefully some of you have stories to share 🙂 I have done my phone interview and in person interviews, and yesterday was contacted by HR to start background check process. From reading other posts here, I see 2 common experiences: 1) this means I am being considered for the job, and 2) the LM background check can be a long process. What was your experience with the LM background check? How long did it take? Did you pass? Any glitches along the way? If you did not pass, what reason ...
Add a Label: Type a Job, Company, Location and/or Other in the boxes below (i.e. chef, Hilton Hotel, and Orlando, FL) and click "Search". You may only add one job, company, and location label per search, but multiple "other" labels.

I expect to receive an offer soon, but I have a misdemeanor and I'm looking for some solace, or at least a definitive answer to the question - will the rescind the offer once I tell them I have a conviction? Specifically, I have a parked car DUI from 2014. License has been long reinstated and there are no residual issues or any other dings on my record. Anyone have thoughts?
Hi, today I received a phone call to have a face to face interview with liberty mutual this week. But for some reason I felt uneasy and was thrown off by the call. First when I answered the phone the recruiter was in mid conversation with someone else. When she realized I had answered the phone she finally said "hello." But she went on to say that she saw my resume online and that she wanted me to come in for an interview. Knowing that I had not applied for a job with liberty mutual I asked her ...
Hey everyone,I just submitted my background check. I am not worried about the criminal, I have nothing on that. I am worried about my credit check. I have a discharged chapter 7 from 09/2016, and my credit is 588. Will I be okay or will the bankruptcy cause a problem. Thanks for any insight.
Does anyone have information on LM background checks? I have a chapter 7 bankruptcy that was discharged in 11/2017. My credit score is 575 with Transunion. No criminal record. No criminal record. I’ve applied for a property adjuster role. I’ve been in the industry for 4 years. Was hired at another insurance carrier shortly after my bankruptcy.
It has been exactly 2 weeks since my background check has been submitted to LM. I called last week and they said it is almost done and i should hear by this week... still nothing! I have never had to wait more than 48 hours for a background check, but over 2 weeks is asinine How are you supposed to plan your life around waiting to see if you got the job or not! Im losing my mind waiting. I passed the phone interview, went in for the 4 hour interview which i passed, then was told the backgrou...
I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. It's similar to other things I've seen posted in this forum but nobody has asked them in awhile so maybe processes have changed.I have been waiting approximately three weeks now for liberty mutual to update me on the status of my application. I passed the phone screen and was interviewed in person. A manager called me and offered me a position as a Customer Claims representative and told me the offer was contingent on passing background. I was told the ...
Does it look at past salaries? Not sure a former employer will release that and I'm worried because I don't have any W2s saved. I know they'll confirm employment, that's not the issue, just a problem if they try to look into salary!
Do I have to fingerprint for my Property and Casualty Adjuster’s license when I start with liberty mutual
What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Liberty Mutual? What do you like best about working at Liberty Mutual? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?
Do you work at Liberty Mutual? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
Greetings! I have recently accepted a job offer within the organization. I filled out the paper work for the background check about a week ago. There is some stuff I have concerns that I feel might make me “fail" the background check. I don’t want to put in my two weeks with my current employer until I know I pass the background check. Will Liberty Mutual let me know when I pass the background check?
Hi,This is a question about the background check, specifically employment verification. Does anyone know if the company that Liberty Mutual uses for the background verification checks to see why you were let go from a previous job?I didn't leave on good terms with my previous employee and I am afraid that this might cause a problem.
I've been trying to get on at Liberty Mutual. Is it true that if you apply too many times, they automatically ignore you as a candidate?
So I've applied to a claims adjuster position and have questions about how Overtime works at the company. I've read that some of the pros of working at LM is that there is always Overtime available. How many people take advantage of this? And what is the cap?
So I got the offer and now going through the background check. Does this include credit as well? Mine is over 540 and I'm just nervous because of my poor credit I may lose the offer? Anyone been turned down because of their credit and why? Or do you have bad credit and still got the job? I'm applying for Auto Claims Rep
I have recently gone through the interview process and have been offered a job. At no point has a drug screening Come up but I am concerned because o recently went to Colorado and "when in Rome" applied and I smoked pot for a couple days two weeks ago. Does Liberty screen for marijuana? How concerned should I be? I'd hate to leave a job for a new one only to fail a test.
Hi-I am new here-I have had all my interviews and have passed the assessment am told that they have been waiting for three weeks for my background check to be completed. As of yesterday, my recruiter said they are still waiting to verify my high school info. High school was 21 years ago-is this a real valid response-or am I getting jerked around. Please any feedback would be appreciated. thanks!!
Just wanted to see what other peoples experiences might be like. I received my job offer but I have to wait to clear the background check. I have no criminal record and my job history will check out. What I am most worried about is the credit report. I have a decent score mid 600's. I also don't have any accounts in collections, or late payments. Everything is current, my only concern is that I have a fair amount of debt. I recently bought a new car which added to it, so I am worried that they m...
Hello everybody! I'm hoping you can help me here. I am an experienced claims adjuster and customer service rep. I hold my customer service and adjusters license, and have worked for both GEICO and Progressive insurance. I have my MBA and earned a 3.8 GPA. I exceed the minimum requirements for all of the claims and customer service positions with Liberty. I spend at least 60 minutes on their assessment every time I apply for a new position. I had a phone interview once, and received an email lett...
Two days after I uploaded my resume I was contacted by a recruiter and he scheduled a phone interview for a claims representative position. The phone interview went well and a day later, I was called by the local office to come in for a in-person interview. Being it an intitial interview I thought it would take only 30 minutes to an hour, but to my surprise I was there for four hours. I had a group interview, then they had me sit in on some call center employees for about an hour. Afterwards, I ...
I have a phone interview (phone screening) with Liberty Mutual on Thursday. Usually, how long it will take to move to the next step? The phone screen is pretty short (about 10 minutes), just ask some basic questions. Any input is very much appreciated
They treat their employees very badly, especially the ones that have been there for years. I wouldn't work there.
Do you work at Liberty Mutual / Equest? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
i have an interview this week at LM for life & annuity assoc. my bg is spotless, very clean but my credit score is low, due to my student loans. does any body know if they still hire under these circumstances if you are the right candidate?
