I am 50 years old, and I have never hated working for a company as much as I hated working for Quest Diagnostics. The supervisors are all from hell, and they treat you like crap. I eventually quit because I could not take it anymore, and so did a lot of my friends. I still have friends there and they all complain about the same thing. Quest was once shut down because of a law suit. They have new employee orientation every month because of so many people quitting all the time. I see that com...

I thought I was a smart person but for the life of me, I could not figure out how to submit a resume once I was in the Quest wb site. I could use any help...
It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Quest Diagnostics?Any advice on striking the right note?
Has anyone being offerered a job as a specimen processor and go throgh reference check? Do you know what is included in reference check and were you able to see the report? If i had a phlebotomy certificate but if it expired is it going to show up on the report?
Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Quest Diagnostics? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Quest Diagnostics?
You get in trouble for slouching, taking long on call notes even when if it's your first week on the phones, or even breathing, really. They right everyone up for everything. If you let your phone ring for a few seconds more than it should, the production goes down 1%, 30 minute lunches pretty much everyday even though you should have 1hr. Lots of over time opportunities, but lots to mess up. Meeting with the manager had about 45 minutes of him explaining what he'll fire you for, and how much mo...
Is it just me or is this the worst website ever for applying for employment? It seems to be incredibly difficult to navigate. I've attempted to use different browsers, but there are buttons that simply don't work.
How long did it take from the final interview to a job offer for an external candidate?
They do not care about their workers. They try to scare you by saying "people are knocking down the door trying to get in here" What they are not saying is that those same people that make it in are knocking down the door trying to get out. Unless you came from SmithKline or another company they acquired, your pay is very low and they will work you like a slave without showing any appreciation. I have not been there a year yet and I am already trying to leave. The only reason why most people are...
How long did it take them to get back to you for an interview? One of the positions I applied for stated that applicants will be sent an email to complete an online evaluation, and I still haven't received that, yet it shows that my application did go through. Anyone else have the same issue?

I too am trying o figure out how to et a resume to Quest. If you have discovered how, can you let me know? Thanks
I am possibly interested in pursuing a management opportunity at Quest and wondering what the culture is like (i.e. open doors, flexibility for working parents and/or inclement weather). Also wondering how their is engagement with employees? I haven't seen much positive feedback on this site which is disappointing.
Has anyone working in the other Quest Labs around the US gotten the results back from the employee survey we took last fall? In CT we didn't even get a hard copy of the results and our supervisor didn't go over in detail what the results where. It was just stated that everyone in our dept. is happy and that the employees think they're not getting paid enough. Just wanted to know what the other Quest Labs encountered.
What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Questdiagnostics? What do you like best about working at Questdiagnostics? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?
Do you work at Quest Diagnostics? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
My, concern is this,I applied to Quest Diagnostics last year around January of last year. How I know is because I kept the card they sent me when they turn me down. The lady I spoke to felt that I live too far and that the commute would be a challenge. I think her name was Michelle Davis. Quite recently I apllied to a company that was looking for a Specimen Prep Assitant. The company name was Medforce Inc. So I applied to the company, had my interview and took a urine test and have yet to hear ...
Hello, everyone. I have recently applied to be a Specimen Tech I in Horsham and it's been a little over two weeks since my interview. I was told in the interview that I should hear a response within 7-10 days. I contacted HR after the 10 days and inquired if they have chosen a candidate or were still in the decision making process. I was told that the supervisors were still interviewing and that I'd be contacted when the interviews were concluded. I'm just trying to get an idea of how long I can...
I am reading all the pros and cons of Quest Diag. I would really really like to find someone who works at the West Hills location. Maybe they are kind of a brutal company,,,,but I LIVE 1/2 MILE away. I am looking for a position called "Lab. Associate", not lab assistant. I have had 3 interviews in past month or so.....at least I am in the ball park. I am sure that there are probably 100 people applying for same job. What can I do to get an edge....have two teenagers to support; worst possible ti...
I read on the other similar discussions that it will be a urine test and not hair, but I want to know should I be prepared with a prescription for my xanax since it may show up on a 9 panel? and if so will they give me any guff about it?
Hello all,I am trying to get employment with Quest in the Atlanta area. Do you guys know of any ways to get in fast? I have put my application in just want to network with others that work in the offices. Thanks
Our BU is currently undergoing the "Leaning The Lab" process, doing a full makeover of our facilities. We will be streamlining and consolidating our departments, and I am worried that this process will leave some people out of a job. I was not concerned at first, rather, I was excited that the changes would result in better patient care. Is there anyone who has survived this process in Atlanta who could offer me some encouragement?
Can anyone tell me about the Teleinterviewer 1 positions at Quest? If you have worked it, do you like the job? Also interested in knowing about the call center training 6-8 weeks is it difficult? Is advancement possible?
