Dont ever work for riteaid. I have been there 5 years as,a shift supervisor and you get taken, advantage of. We are wxpextwd to do store manager duties when there isnt one and you dont get appreciated. The head up cut store hrs so you work alone in bad areas so they dont care about safety. They way underpay you. My suggestion go to fastfood work before riteaid. At least fastfood pqys you more for the job they expect ya to do and you never have to work alone.
Okay guys today i did the stupidest thing. I checked everything out put it in the bag scanned there rite aid card and gave them there stuff because i was running out of room. Then they took it and left the store without paying for it. I was dumbfounded as i didn't know what to do. I was expecting them to give me Cash or Credit and then leave. It was $32.69 worth of stuff and they just walked out the store without paying. My Manager is allowing me to keep my job and is only righting me up but i j...
Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Rite Aid?Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Rite Aid?
What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Rite Aid?What do you like best about working at Rite Aid? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?
1) The air conditioning breaks every few days. State law requires medications in a pharmacy to be store at 74 degrees or lower. It has been 78 and 79 in our pharmacy every few days for months. Even the customers see the fans and temporary a/c units and make remarks like "wow, that's STILL broken?" Whoever Rite Aid is contracted with for building repairs obviously knows that they are the only company under contract to perform maintenance, therefore they can patch up a problem knowing it will brea...
Do you work at Rite Aid? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
What does the wellness ambassador make per hour??
Do you buy into the hype? Do you think Rite Aid is really going to meet their end of the bargain on this "Cultural Change"?
I conducted the Rite Aid phone interview and my phone cut off in the middle of it so I failed it. How long does it take until it resets and I can take it again?
Kind of a mystery for me: Due to family reasons I recently moved outside of Harrisburg. I've worked in the DC/Baltimore area for a number of years, and while I've got a good job, it's a horrible commute now. Just casting a quick eye for close-by companies, I noticed Rite Aid HQ was literally right up the street. They post a number of Category management/Inventory analysis jobs available on their website. However, I've applied to almost a half-dozen jobs (through their on-line HR system) and ha...
I have read all of the topics here and it seems like everybody hated rite aid. I am an 18 year old in between high school and college and only plan on working there over summer, so i am not worried about pay raises. Would it really be hell to work there for 3 months? Also i know the manager is a nice person, so i am not worried about being screwed over by him, but rather by corporate. So, ignoring issues with store management and pay raises, is there anything i need to worry about?
ARE HUMAN RESOURCE PEOPLE REALLY DUMB OR DO THEY THRIVE ON DO THEIR SLOWER THAN A RETARD. I HAVE APPLIED UMPTEEN TIMES,AND FOR WHAT BLOW-OFF. THEY NEED INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THERE NOT YHE CURRENT CORPORATE BUFOONS
I just wanted to make a positive statement about being a newhire at Rite Aid. Being over 50 years old, and after a brief4 month hire at Safeway, I can say it's 'refreshing' to work atRite Aid! They start us at $10.00/hr, and promise over 20 hours a week.I'm averaging closer to 30 hrs these days, and the promise forSummer is a bonus of $1.00 to $1.50 an hour over Summer, andat least 30 hrs minimum ... Why the fuss? I hadn't run a cash register in nearly a year, and my last jobhad me collecting sh...
Everyone knows we had to do the CBT for Workplace Harrassment. Do you know that the Next day I was told I was not allowed to bring my religous items, like pins on my jacket, and bible in my purse to work? Doesn't that infiringe on my rights? I was not Preaching to anyone! It was for myself alone. This company is too politically correct. I should sue them for infringing on my rights.
What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Rite Aid stack up against the competition?
Recent Changes, or I call Cutbacks, are as follows in our store. Reduced hours in Rx, even though rx count is just the same. Staff Works, comes out and it gets lower each time. No overlapping in Technicians, means no one eats, or takes a legal break. How Can this company keep getting away with this? Does anyone get a 20 minute breaks or lunch?? and HOW???
I telephoned interviewed for a Store Manager Position in Salisbury, MD. I will be contacted next week for a face to face interview. I would like some advice on whether or not to except this position. What are the salaries for Store Managers? How many hours does Store Managers work? How are the benefits for Store Managers? Does Rite-aid of have tuition reimbursement?thanks
Rite Aid is a poorly run cooperation. RUN AWAY FROM THEM! NEVER WORK FOR RITE AID!
Are there any?, I have applied to places and don't get a response. When I call and talk to a manager they say they don't have an opening even though they advertised that they do. I am truly frustrated.
Either they are turning over staff on a weekly basis, or this job does not exist.I have sent in my resume 4 times in the last 9 months and gotten no response. Don't bother.
Hi All. I'm working on finding a local manager to chat with but in case I'm not able to do that are there any of you managers that would be available to do an interview? I'm doing a school project about how different organizations are structured, how they use technology, manage employees, etc. If you are interested I'd really appreciate it. I could email you the questions or give you a call. Thanks! ***********
I went to the Jaffrey NH Rite Aid and the Manager said she was going nowhere. I applied anyway. I called the HR rep for 2 weeks and never got to speak to her. I have read they keep the job adds open even though they don't need anyone. I would love to work in that store but I have sadly moved on now.
It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Rite Aid?Any advice on striking the right note?
I have an interview as a loss prevention agent at rite aid is this something new??? if so how much does it pay and how is it???
