Most of those people were interviewed for other positions. CS&S works a little bit different. There are several of us on here that have been through this process together. They usually call within a week and a half. They'll ask if you're interested in a position with the company & after you say YES, they'll give you instructions to go for your drug test, they'll also email these instructions to you. After you set up & go for your DT they will forward your application/background paperwork you sig...

Ok, this may sound bad but before I put this employment down, I told the recruiter that I got paid cash and personal checks from my employer. I even let the employee at southwest airlines before she submitted my background check know about this and if I should put it down. She let me know that as long as the employee can prove you worked there with accurate dates I should be fine.Sterling backcheck called me and wanted me to provide the w2 form or paystubs. Since I couldn't provide it, I was tol...
I'm going to be heading to Dallas, TX for a week of training later this month. I'm a part time ramp agent. What should I expect heading out there? Anything I should be prepared for? What's the hours like and are the classes tough? What are rules I need to know about? Has anybody been through the training out in Dallas?
hey quick question for you?!.i had my phone interview last week then yesterday had the face to face interview and fingerprints done.i have 1 year and a half ramp experience........how long does it usally take to hear back from southwest airlines for the ramp agent postion? like i said i just did the f2f interview yesterday and also fingerprints.
I currently work for a call center for a company that's #38 in best places to work. And it's hell. They tell us all the time "this is a great company to work for, here are all of your benefits" but employees don't feel it. FMLA abuse is rampant. Morale is low. People break down in tears at their desks and walk out on a daily basis... SO what I want to know, what is it REALLY like to work for Southwest at their call centers? Realistically how long are you stuck in a not so great schedule? A year?...
I applied on April 9th for CSR I had my phone interview on April 25th and my F2F on May 7th I was told I was moving to the next stage I did my fingerprint and BG screening and on May 17th I received an email from HR that he needed my employment verification so I Faxed that over then called me and asked for the first pay stub of 2018 that I received I faxed that over this morning but now I haven’t received any phone call or email Has anyone gone through this? If so how did your outcome turn out?
HelloI'm currently undergoing background check for southwest airlines ramp agent, and the process is making me crazy. I recieved a pre-adverse action letter in my email the other day, and the recruiter called me to request w-2s or wage statements. Apparently three of my prior employers were unable to be verified..Luckily I had old W-2s so I sent those in. How long does it usually take for these background checks to be finished? I'm hoping I wont have to wait for the holiday's to be over to know ...
What to expect when in Dallas? Do they provide food?
I moved all the way to Los Angeles and took a position as a ramp agent. I recently went to Dallas and completed my training and everything. About a week after training in Dallas I was rear-ended on the way to work one morning. I called and let them know I would be late as I had to wait for CHP and exchange information etc. Now I drive from Palmdale all the way to LAX every morning just to get to work so I ended up getting to work past 2 hours which means I was hit with a NO SHOW. I was told it w...
I was able to download the list! Thanks again John Im making my index cards now! Oh the list you provided with the Airline Codes only goes up to letter "M" what about the rest? Update my BR cleared!!! Going in for finger printing Monday!
I did a phone interview 6/26 then f2f interview 7/5. A day after my f2f interview my status on the SW dashboard went from "under review" to "in progress". Does anyone know what that means or have you seen this before? I did fingerprints before f2f and signed consent for background but have not recieved an email saying anything.
So I applied for a ramp position at Southwest Airlines, did f2f interview on the 01/05/16, got fingerprinted A week later and on 2/9/16 got a pre adverse letter stating that I could be precluded from the application process. This is mainly because I can't provide a transcript from a college I went to who I still owe a lot of money to even though the position only requires a highschool diploma. I've sent them a summary of my college bill that list the dates. All of my employment has been verified...

Hi everyone,I was selected to move forward in the interview process and am now working with Sterling to provide documents for my background check. About 5 years ago I left a company on good terms with a small severance package. I started a small business and operated it for about 4 years full time until I took my current job. Fast forward to today When asked to provide documentation I can prove with 1099's my income for the second third and fourth year. However the first year I didn't have m...
I just applied to a ramp agent position in Orlando, that was posted yesterday, June 22. I looked today, June 23, and it was taken off. I'm wondering if someone could tell me does that mean that they filled the position, or if they recieved too many applications? Also, does anyone who works or worked for Southwest have any idea when I would hear anything from them if they didn't fill the position? Thanks for the help
I have received a formal welcom letter to SWA! I have tried 5 times before this and FINALLY I'm part of the SWA Family! I am so excited! I'll be in DAL 11/15 for training and have been studying my city codes! Anyone else going to be in Dallas the same time?
Anyone interviewed and/or is employed with swa with a background? I have a disorderly conduct misdemeanor from 3 years ago. I have completed the phone interview, now just waiting to hear whether I will move to the next step or not. Please help! I'm so nervous.

I posed this on another thread but I was wondering if people could tell me their experiences? Are we in Dallas 4 weeks or 2 weeks in Dallas then 2 weeks CSR training? ,,, crossing my fingers will be in the May class from Phx for the CSR reservation in Dallas. My only worry and I will of course make it work, 2 or 4 weeks away ( and I know some of you have kids wife husband ect) is a long time away from home. During training I heard there is a morning and afternoon class. Mon - Fri I know this is...
Hi All, I recently completed fingerprinting and the drug screen for the customer service representative position with SW. I can't remember from the interview if the 5-week training is paid. Does anyone know?
Anybody been to class in Dallas recently, can you tell me what to expect.....What to study before I go?
Does southwest really fly you out for training in Tampa, FL? I was interviewed over the phone and advised that I should be either receiving a call or a letter in the mail letting me whether or not I got the job, and that the training is in Tampa.
Is anybody starting the 11/30/18 orientation class in Denver?
