It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Stryker?Any advice on striking the right note?
Add a Label: Type a Job, Company, Location and/or Other in the boxes below (i.e. chef, Hilton Hotel, and Orlando, FL) and click "Search". You may only add one job, company, and location label per search, but multiple "other" labels.
Delete a Label: You can remove "Other" labels one at a time by clicking the "x" next to the name. Or, remove all the filters at once by clicking "Clear all labels".
Do you work at Stryker? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?Any advice for someone trying to get in?
Stryker has been advertising this position for over a year. They have no idea what they want.
I helped a friend take that Gallup personality test. He didn't have access to a computer so he gave them my email address. I read him the questions and he gave me his answers over the phone and I entered them. Unfortunately, I realized half way through that I had been clicking 'strongly disagree' rather than strongly agree. I emailed Gallup to ask if he could do it again, and didn't hear back. Have I ruined his chances for an interview? What can I do? jennifer
Currently in interviewing phase. What is/was your interview process like? What are/were your expectations?Tips/advice?For those that are working, what are the pros/cons of your job?Any other Stryker info is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I was not offered a job after the Gallop Personality test. The HR professional told me to some effect I was too ethical and not company oriented. I am a medical professional and through Gallup personality test they asked to provide examples of when I went against the norm and it was when i used professional judgment. If you want to work for Stryker, be all about the company, $$$, and look up Stryker values on YouTube(highlight those points and you should be golden). I have met many Stryker emplo...
I have already accepted my job at Stryker and have been waiting on the background check results. How long does that normally take? I have already resigned with my former company due to giving them 2 weeks. I do not have anything to be worried about, i just wanted to know the normal process length.thanks for the help
I started the interview process and haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks. Is it fair to say they won't be calling me back? Should I send the recruiter I was working with an email? Will I be notified if I haven't been selected? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
I got a phone call and applied to a position. I was then instructed to take a On-Demand Video Interview. It consisted of 8 questions I filmed myself answering. 2 of them I was able to re-record until I was happy with the results. The other 6 were "spontaneous Responses" which you were given a question and 60 seconds to prepare your response and were not able to re-record or adjust it at all. I took these and felt like I did absolutely terrible because of my nerves. I've interviewed plenty of tim...
Will a misdemeanor alcohol offense disqualify me for a position in the sales dept.?
So I had my final set of interviews. Does anyone know how long Stryker waits until they make a offer? Also, if their not interested will they call and tell you either way?
Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Stryker? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Stryker?

Can anyone tell me what the benefits are like at Stryker? Do they cover fertility? What is the vacation time like? Does it increase with years of service? Bonus structure? Any other news worthy benefits? Thanks!
Stryker has to be the worse company on the planet to work for, they also have the highest turn over rate among Med companies..Please stay away!!!
So I know people who have gone into Stryker, and who have much less expertise and knowledge than me. Yet I am flooded with rejects for positions which perfectly match my background. I know the competition is tough but it isn't that tough. I have a feeling there is something more to it.Is there something I am missing? Do I have to stuff keywords in my resume or cover letter? Does not being US citizen hurt? I would not mind being rejected but based on my academic experience I should at least reach...
Aside from all of the long hours, training, low 1st year pay and politics involved, what type of money can an avg and top sales rep make once they are through the training and 1st yr?What should be expected by yrs 2,3,4?I would like to compare to what I have heard and what the recruiter divulged.Thanks.
Hi. I have been seeing some Stryker job postings for this position and wondering if anyone has more information on the job. It says OR experience preferred. Anyone think I'd have a shot without that? I am an LPN with a biology degree and am in the Army's biomedical Repair Program right now. How much equipment troubleshooting would this job entail? I was hoping it would be a good merging of both of my training. Of course I'd have to get through the Gallup interview. Thanks.
FOLLOWUP: Well 2 weeks later after calling HR back to see what happened, they gave me the Gallup. I got passed that with flying colors, then got set up for an interview the next week. Had to take a MS Office (word, outlook, excel, powerpoint) assesment the day of the interview, passed all with flyng colors. Then brought in the office of the recruiter and asked a series of other questions, approximately 20 of them, found them to be similar to the Gallup but all answers had to be business rel...
I have tried to get through to Stryker as a Associate Sales Representative in the Salt Lake City area for months and not received a call. I know that there are thousands of people wanting to work for this great company, but I feel I would a great asset for this company. I have a very successful sales background and strive to be the best. Does anyone know a recruiter or someone in the HR department that I may be able to send my resume to? I am very eager to break into the medical field with this ...
Hi All,I had an interview with the HR and now I have an interview with the hiring manager without going through gallup. I spoke to my friends in Stryker and they said it is very weird. Anyone faced a similar situation? And any suggestions on the interview? Thanks
Two Questions What s the best way to go about getting a job at Stryker and does anybody like working there
I've done everything I can think of to try and get a sales job at Stryker. I'm not sure if I can get my foot in the door however because my background is in commercial and residential real estate finance and sales. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get a job at Stryker? Secondly, there are a lot of complaints about Stryker on the message boards here. Does anyone on here actually like working for Stryker? If you do like working there, why do you like it?
i took a similar test like the gallup for another medical company, not stryker. i have to tell you, ANYBODY who agrees that these assessment scores are a direct correlation to future success in the workplace is living under a rock and is an absolute fool!!! when your put people on the spot, even when fully prepared with pages of notes and example questions, it's difficult to respond in the way you plan on responding and how the company wants you to respond. your brain sometimes reacts differentl...
Anybody know any specifics? The majority of these posters are in sales.
Any word on whether the bankruptcy was a big deal. Did they even do a credit check? Im curious. Thanks
