I am a dentist currently practicing in Indiana. My spouse recently got orders to Florida and I have been looking at the dental license process and it is a bear to transfer into the state. Does anyone have experience moving to Florida and getting a license without retaking the boards? I am not over 5 years for credentialing to be a factor. Any advice would be extremely helpful.

I'm a student working on a project that involves cold sores and how they affect dentists and hygienists and I need some opinions. How big of a deal is it for a patient to come in and get work done while they have a cold sore? Obviously it's contagious but will they get turned away for having a cold sore? How does your office deal with it? What treatments if any does your office offer? Thank you so much!

a few years ago I was arrested for simple assault but charges were dropped and dismissed. It is currently being expunged. I am thinking about applying to dental school and eventually becoming a dentist but this concerns me. Would the board be able to see an expunged record and would that bar me from ever being employed??
