Add a Label: Type a Job, Company, Location and/or Other in the boxes below (i.e. chef, Hilton Hotel, and Orlando, FL) and click "Search". You may only add one job, company, and location label per search, but multiple "other" labels.
Delete a Label: You can remove "Other" labels one at a time by clicking the "x" next to the name. Or, remove all the filters at once by clicking "Clear all labels".
I already have a driver(my uncle) and for now this is enough for me. I have the web sites from which I will get the load information. So my questions are what else do I need to do or have in place? Any special licenses? as my uncle already hauls for somebody but told me he would drive for me once I get everything started. Any other details I would have to do to get this up and running? It will be just me and my uncle for starters.
Hello are u looking to get in to dispatching u dont neeed experience i will teach you ***********
Try working with an established dispatch company to get some experience and see if the job is really for you. Online articles and start-up tips make it seem easy, but those of us in the field can tell you it takes hard work and determination to survive in this industry – especially as a newbie. Most truck drivers have had bad experiences with trucking companies, brokerages and dispatchers at some point and it is your job to earn their trust and keep their trucks loaded with quality freight at fa...
My father is a trucker has been for 26 years. He had finally purchased a truck and is now ready to run. I am trying to figure out how I can dispatch for him so we can keep more money in the household instead of giving it away. I would like to know how I would go about finding loads for him and anything else I will need to know. Please and Thank you in advance for the assistance.
So I have been interested in this field for quite some time and would like to ask for some tips as to the best way to get started in the learning process. My father is a truck owner and would also like for me to become his dispatcher but the problem for me right now is where to get the education for it. I've been seeing manuels around the internet or schools but im not exactly sure whats best. If anybody can share how they started out, and what they used it would be extremely helpful.

I purchased two trucks last year and leased them to a company. I really don't know much about this industry and need to learn now that I may have to take over the day to day operations, because the company my trucks are currently leased to is screwing me real good. It looks like I got in way over my head but I have to figure it out now. Are there companies that deduct insurance payments through the trucking company I would be leasing to? Do I just call companies and ask them to take on my trucks...

I passed critical, the oral interview, so far the background, polygraph, took medical couple of days ago and that should be fine, and just did the psychological which should also be fine. I had to sign a conditional job offer of employment, but was told it really is not a job offer, just a form that needed to be signed so as to take the polygraph etc. Should I be expecting a job offer soon? Also, I was surprised that when I went for the medical they did no drug testing. I found that unusual espe...

I'm a dispatcher with PDO, a professional dispatching company. We provide a NO Contract service to find loads specific to you, in the lanes you want, at the rates you want. No Forced Dispatch here. We handle all the paper work and billing. We provide 7 day a week support; I love what I do and enjoy the people I work with on a daily basis.

Hello.I'd appreciate some feedback on what the requirements are for becoming an independent dispatcher. Aside from the obvious things, such as a land line with unlimited long distance, a fax machine/scanner, high speed internet, etc., would I need to obtain any legal documentation? Are there any websites out there that offer in depth information on how to get started? I have been a dispatcher for over 8 years with a broker and am looking to branch out on my own. 99% of what I do can be done f...
