Does crew who are non-US citizens need H1B or C1-D visa to work and stay in US...

I wanted to to start this new discussion board since being for Delta FAs is fast approaching! We can keep each other updated on timelines and discuss any questions and concerns. I don’t want to give too much detail but I did make it into training this past Spring but was only able to make it through til midterms. I am back in the same boat as most everyone starting out for the first time. So let’s go get those wings!!!
Welcome Aboard the 2019 UAL FA Preliminary Interview for Video and Face to Face Interviews. This is the forum to ask all your questions, update friends to your timelines, share tips, provide feedback and meet other UA FA's such as myself. Welcome.A little about me. I've been a FA for UA since 1985. I am what people call in the industry a senior mama, hence my screen name UA85_SeniorMama. I have traveled the world, both domestically and internationally, been through ups and downs with United, exp...
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up! My friend came across an awesome opportunity this morning as a corporate flight attendant on hotjobs.com. You would get paid just about $4,000/mo, you don't have to relocate. It's for a private cruise company called Xanadu. Remember that name. They promise to fly you out to Miami for the interview. She looked them up on snopes.com put flight attendant in the search engine, and clicked on #5..and there they were, in all of their glory. Apparantly the sca...
I have recently left a major airline after 23 years of flying. I'm 50 and have NOOO idea what to do now. This wan't my plan..as I thought I would just fly till I died.... Any wisdom you can give me would be welcomed. I feel like I'm going through a "breakup" with my airline. I had no idea it would be like this...awful. I miss flying. 😞 HELP?

I'd like to start a new official Q & A forum for Flight Attendant.
Hello,Many years ago I had a minor dui and minor in consumption of alcohol on my record. All over 5 years ago and the sentences have been served.I also received a CJO with a major airline and was wondering if those past crimes will ruin my chance when they do the background checks. They are conducting a background check sometime in November and training is suppose to be in early 2018. Would I know before they shipped me off to training? Is there something I can do to help my chances? I've heard o...

Do you know where I can post rental rooms for flight attendants?
It is 2017 so it is time for a new discussion about everything related to becoming an American Airlines flight attendant.Feel free to discuss anything related to the hiring process, interviews, training, language qualifications and the job after training (pay, benefits, bases, scheduling, trips, union). The first 3 classes of 2017 have already graduated and I think the 9th class of 2017 starts training this week.
Hi! I decided to create this topic because little information is to be found with Porter Airlines FA hiring process, and I thought it could help. I didn't meet any other applicants during my interview date, there was no one waiting. I was interviewed right away so I wasn't able to trade numbers with anyone and talk about our experiences! I'm currently waiting on a call back after my first F2F (timeframe 2 weeks, currently 6 days after that interview). I was told what day they wanted to start tra...
Has anyone interviewed for either? Or has anyone been invited for an interview?
I am reading through the Frontier Airlines posts and do not find anyone that has been asked to do a video interview. There are phone interviews but no video interview discussions. Has any Frontier Airlines candidates received an email to interview via a video first instead of a phone call or is this an additional step? Thanks.
does anyone know when skywest has their training dates?i had an interview with them the other day and am still waiting to hear from them. the reason i ask is that i won't be finished with my degree until may, but i'd really love to work for them so i was hopeful that they could place me in a training session then (if i am invited of course!) also, do they generally hire on the spot like other airlines? they told me (and the others i think) to expect an email within the next week with either a ye...
Bonjour! Hi! I'm opening this discussion to hear from fellow hopefuls for the Air Transat 2019 recruiting. Anyone out there heard anything yet? I applied as soon as I saw the FA posting on their website.:)
This is for all those who applied to the Air Transat job offer for 2018 lets share our experience and journey during the recruiting process
Hey! I only speak English, I can understand some French but can not speak it. During the interview I was asked questions in French but was able to respond in English. Kind of weird i know! she said i had a great understanding of French and asked if I was interested in learning it. I was a bit surprised to get the emailInvite today as I felt not being bilingual would be a huge issue. So I am very excited to see what happens on the 23rd!
Hello everyone! I'm starting this new forum discussion specifically for 2019 training classes, since all the other threads are continuations of discussions from previous years. If you have any questions about the application process or about life as a Delta flight attendant, feel free to post them here!
Hey!I recently read a ton of threads on the hiring process to become a Delta Flight Attendant. I can honesty say the threads are about 88%-90% accurate Besides the negativity among others, they where extremely helpful and got me to where I am right now. So currently I am anxiously waiting for my f2f interview thats schedule this December. While on my "how to ace this interview search" (lol) I had trouble finding an active thread regarding comments and conversations on this nerve-racking day. So ...
I thought I would create this discussion board for the current WestJet Cabin Crew Hopefuls where we can share our individual progress, status and general experience throughout the recruitment process.....
