I wish to utilize these and other skills of mine in the workplace and make them the source of my livelihood. Unfortunately, in this goal I have, hereon and elsewhere, been repeatedly stymied. Thus, my comment is, where can I find work? Espec...

I would like to switch fields, but remain as a secretary. Legal field is my target. Litigation paralegal will be fantastic, but I have to be experienced four years. Seeking a law firm or agencie whereas I can continue my skills and learn new talent. I love watching Judge Judy, Law & Order and CNN. This made me curious how to research, cross-examine and resolve disputes. Any advice will be appreciated.

I am employed with the city of Milwaukee Police Department, and has been for almost 18 years. I've always wanted to relocate to the south because of health reasons, but I was told that instead of living in an area like Phenix City, AL or Columbus,GA., I would probably have better luck with finding a job relocating to a large city vs. small. I have until June, to make a final decision regarding this matter. Please give me some input on what would probably be a better move.

I am a seasoned experienced general secretary in the engineering arena - the problem is im a transplant from another state and no onein Midland Texas is hiring 'general' all around admin or secretarial without gas/oil experience and no one wants to train! It is frustrating to be an outstanding Admin/Secy. but no one wants to give you a chance.
