One of the biggest issues I have with a lot of transportation companies is they pass up many a good persons who may not have a degree. They prefer people with a degree but they may not have the experience in the industry or they hire someone from another company but dont fully check them out and they fail the company. Why does a degree always mean that a person knows what they are doing?

Microsoft word and excel is a must, Map reading and route planning, customer service training, people skills, managing a high volume of employees and understanding how to root out the top 5 bad apples. Always thinking outside the box to find better ways to run the business.

What I would change about my job. Would be to work during theday, cause I work from 7:30PM till 4:00 and just 30mins. breckand we are standing up all thru the 8hrs.
