What should be my primary concerns walking into a new company as their warehouse manager... what topics should I address first?

Hi, I wanted to check in with everybody to see if they could help me with this problem. Our loading dock is 38" off the ground, and our freight partner uses trucks that are 48" off the ground, leaving us with a height differential of 10". Normally, we ask them to raise their lift gate and back into the warehouse, lowering the lift gate onto the warehouse floor, but that's not an ideal solution for us. I'm looking into getting a dock plate, but I'm having a hard time finding one that raises 10...
