Why Should You Have CMS Website Development When You Develop A Website?
Add a Label: Type a Job, Company, Location and/or Other in the boxes below (i.e. chef, Hilton Hotel, and Orlando, FL) and click "Search". You may only add one job, company, and location label per search, but multiple "other" labels.
Delete a Label: You can remove "Other" labels one at a time by clicking the "x" next to the name. Or, remove all the filters at once by clicking "Clear all labels".

I was on quora and someone said that web developers avoid print graphic designers who also say they can do web design. Why? What's wrong with that? I'm trying to quit quora (its like an addiction lol) but this is really bugging me. I love both graphic and web design! I like to code and make nice graphics.... print design has types of graphics you can't make too well for web design and a little more freedom in how you design, and print design doesn't have coding which can be fun too. So whats wro...
I hope someone can help with input. I am floundering here.I'm a 36 year old mom of three who has been doing clerical work all my life. Spent my time home with my kids and never finished college. So, here I am, tired of surviving, trying to figure out what to do.I have thought about going back to school and becoming a teacher. I would like to explore other options that would require less schooling and more pay. I want to know what kind of person is best suited for this career, and what kind ...
We've all seen them: front-end web developer job postings that seem really great but are also looking for someone with at least 'X' amount of years experience professionally. I haven't concluded a study, but I think I'm being reasonable by saying that at least 90% of the front-end web developer job postings want someone with at least two years experience in the industry. I usually ignore this "qualification" and apply anyways, but I'm met with no response or the employer saying, "Sorry, but we'r...
Switch from QA Automated Tester to Web Developer?I'm wondering if this is possible, and am also looking for some general career advice. I am fascinated with development and find QA somewhat boring, however I have been getting a chance to do some development working QA as it seems to industry is switching over from manual to automated testing. I don't have the schooling background in Computer Science, but do have some talent for coding. I'm 31 years old, no kids or family obligations. Some specifi...
Trying to come up with a definitive list of interview questions that developers get asked. I'd be interested to know if any experienced developers agree with this or think I've got it completely wrong? It feels like there is a whole range of potential interview questions that can come up, maybe I've missed some. Genuine feedback appreciated! Here is a link to my blog if you'd like to take a look: bit.ly/1TKwNSa

What To Expect From LAMP Website Development?
wanted to know if there is a program aside from my current community college or job available for someone still learning
i am currently taking classes towards a web development degree. i learn best hands-on. i wanted to know if anyone is aware of any kind of seperate program/schooling or a job that hires individuals in my position because the classes (most of which are online) are in my opinion not enough to get the knowledge and confidence required to partake in a job after the degree has been earned.
Hey my name is Joaquin. I am a student at Washington Highschool. I was wondering if anybody was interested in being interviewed for my school project. In my english class, I have recently begun working on what is called the "I-Search Project." As my topic for this project I have chosen Web Design. As a part of this project I am required to interview people who have knowledge of my subject. I was hoping that I might be able to interview some one in this chosen field.
I am currently a college student working towards a certificate as a Web / Database Developer. The college is teaching the open source path - apache, PHP, MySQL and the like. Now when I look around at open jobs the industry seems to be split 60 - 40 or 70 - 30 towards .NET. Is the best path to try to pick up both, major in open source or ditch the open source and learn .NET with VB .Net or C#? Any ideas out there? I would really appreciate any advice you all might be able to give me.Bob
