Do you work at Doubletree Hotel? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Look very professional when they give and present the orientation but the reality is different, the first employees broken the rules are the managers.
They tell us "we are a family, and we have to call to the first name to other team members" is funny but during all most five years i work there the general manager never call me for my name, i try to be polite with every person in the beginning but some managers never answer the greeting.
One of polices of the company is not a loud any relatives from employees using hotel facilities, i saw a few times sons and daughters of manager and office employees using pool and spa, and in the kitchen or walk in around the hotel Some managers and supervisor really need good human relations training courses.
some supervisors give service to guest, but as soon guest turn around talk badly about them, this is not professionalism.
