One of the better lines of business to work for at JPM, but its really just Bank One w/ a PB label. I've worked there for many years in several locations, and it isn't what it used to be. Experiences differ depending on the role you're looking at. Severe cost cutting makes it difficult to do a good job; resources are inadequate. Pay is performance based, so you have to be committed. As far as pay scales go, its no longer Wall Street competitive; think retail. |

What are you talking about? you are confusing the personal banker role with Private Banking where you get a starting salary of at least 65k a year plus comissions and mostly you are NOT dealing with sales unless you are one of the TOP private bankers and then you will be making base of over 100k easy. Otherwise you are doing private banking analysis in their private banking analyst program, running portfolio analysis, filing SEC reports, etc... get your facts straight before you respond. |
