Frame Attendant jobs are being replaced 'actively' by Central Office Technicians. Take this job and you may be unemployed in a few months, years at best. COT is a better fit for a future. As a Frame Attendant, I was responsible for wiring the office equiptment to the cable pairs, replacing mux/dac cards and wharehousing them. Some trouble shooting with COT testers and outside Techs. Some fiber work, like replacing the fiber cords, or trouble shooting to make sure they are in properly. Keep in mind, Verizon sends 'everyone' for training. What you do not know, they will teach you. You just need to past the test to prove that you have the capacity to learn the technical info.
