I have a bachelors in medical biology / chem minor.

I recently interviewed for a chemical operations technician position at a small and growing company. The interview went good...anticipating a second interview.

since not all people have a degree when entering this field, and the position did not specifically require any course specific needs, annnnnd i dont exactly have a lot (any) real experience in the workplace out of school.

....What should i be expecting as a "fair offer" of hourly pay?
what should i request if offered the job, what should i "settle for" and at what point should i tell myself this is a waste of time and look elsewhere.
