Jconter in Tempe, Arizona

Hey guys I'm a sophomre at Arizona state university and am currently an MET degree here doing my first years of the program becasue I did ChE my first three semesters and wasn't so interested and screwed around too much so my gpa isn't good right now. My question is since I wouldn't be able to do ME here at ASU would I be better off to stay here doing MET with a focus in automotive engineering technology or transfer back home to Newmexico State University where I can do the ME degree?

The problem I see is that I am already in SAE mini baja here and am excelling at school now that I have my mind in the right place and am willing to work. I am also develping good relationships with the upper division MET professors here and would figure that since I am in the big city I would have more opportunities to find jobs rather than Having am ME in Las Cruces, NM.

I am really into cars and want to end up in the automotive world specifically in the Aftermarket offroad industry or any Aftermarket industry and develop my own line of parts company someday. I forgot to mention I am a very hands on person and have dug into many vehicle and have built my rock crawler up pretty well yet I am pretty good at math when I apply myself.

Thanks Guys
