I just turned 50 and have always wanted to work in the medical field, but life happened and my path took a different turn. Is it too late to start a career as an RN at my age?? I have at least another 12-15 years in the workforce..

I think a lot depends on your prior college experience and whether you have any of the prerequisite courses completed. That could take 1.5-4 years to do depending on your pace. Then you have the (2 years on average) nursing program. My mom took prerequisites in her late 40’s and completed a second degree bachelors program when she was 51. It’s definitely possible.
