Closing Your Employer Account

This page explains how to stop charges to your account and close it. Do you want to delete your Indeed data, too? Instructions for data deletion are included below.

Stop charges to your account

You don't have to close your account to stop new charges from accruing. Prevent new charges by:

  • Closing your job postings
  • Pausing or cancelling your Indeed Smart Sourcing subscription
  • Settling your account balance, if applicable
Your employer account is inactive if you no longer have open jobs, an active Smart Sourcing subscription, or outstanding charges.

Close your account

  1. Go to your Account settings.
  2. Select Close my account.

You can also reach out to your Indeed Representative for help with closing or deleting your account.

Do you think your account may have been compromised? Find out more here.

Deleting your data

Submit a personal data deletion request form to delete your Indeed data and close your account. Learn more about your personal data rights.
