Using Apply URL

With the Apply URL feature, you can post a job directly on Indeed while keeping the application process on your own website. This option is useful if your job isn't easily indexed but requires a specific external or pre-existing application process. In this article, we'll explain the Apply URL requirements and how to use this feature.

Apply URL guidelines

Link requirements

  • The URL must directly lead to:
    • An application process, OR
    • A job description page that includes a direct application link.
  • The URL can lead to a log-in or sign-up page, but must immediately redirect the job seeker to the application or job description page afterward.

Business justification

Tracking and sponsorship

  • Tracking must be installed to identify traffic from Indeed.
