Free Job Post Policy
Indeed offers free job postings in countries worldwide. The number of free jobs you can post per month and how long they stay visible depends on where you're posting.
In the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland:
You can post up to 3 free jobs on Indeed per calendar month.
Each free job stays visible for up to 30 days from the day it’s posted.
In all other countries where free posting is available:
Free job posts stay visible for up to 30 days by default.
In select countries listed below, free jobs stay visible for up to 120 days.
When you reach your monthly limit or your jobs reach their visibility period, you can sponsor jobs to extend visibility, increase reach, and connect with qualified candidates more efficiently.

If you've already posted 3 free jobs in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland during the current calendar month, you can still post additional jobs to source candidates with Smart Sourcing.
Here's what happens with these additional jobs:
Your job won't appear in Indeed search results for job seekers unless sponsored.
You'll see a notification on the Jobs page that you need to sponsor the job for search visibility.
Smart Sourcing will still work normally to help you find and invite qualified candidates.

Question: How will I know when I've reached my free job post limit?
Answer: You'll be notified during the job posting process when you've reached your monthly free job posting limit. This limit applies only in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland for jobs posted directly on Indeed.
Question: Can I post more jobs after reaching my monthly limit?
Answer: Yes. You can continue posting by sponsoring your jobs to increase visibility and attract more candidates.
Question: Does the free job post limit apply to all countries?
Answer: No. The 3 jobs per month limit applies only to jobs posted directly on Indeed in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Other countries may have different posting limits or no monthly limits.
Question: Does this limit apply to jobs posted through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)?
Answer: No. This limit only applies to free jobs posted directly on Indeed. It doesn't affect jobs posted through integrated ATS partners.
Question: How long will my free job posts stay visible?
Answer:
In the countries listed above:Free jobs stay visible for up to 120 days from the day they're posted.
In the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland:Free jobs stay visible for up to 30 days from the day they're posted.
In all other countries:Free jobs stay visible for up to 30 days from the day they're posted.
When your free job reaches its visibility limit, you'll be notified and can choose to sponsor it to maintain visibility.
Question: If I close a free job before its visibility period ends, can I reopen it the next month without it counting toward my limit?
Answer:
No. If a job was posted more than 30 days ago, you can't reopen it to receive organic traffic, even if you closed it before the visibility period ended.
To post a new free job, create a new job post. Reopening a closed job from a previous month requires sponsorship.
