If you have a Professional Smart Sourcing plan, you can work with your team by collaborating in Projects. Projects help you keep candidates organized by job title or location.
Professional subscribers can invite teammates to look at resumes, activity, and status updates. This helps your team work better and makes hiring easier. Teammates who do not have a subscription can also be invited to projects for collaboration.
This article is for employers and recruiters using Indeed's Smart Sourcing tool who want to collaborate with their team.
Who can collaborate using projects?
Professional plan users
- Can make and collaborate within projects
- Can invite teammates to work together
- Can find candidates with you in the same project
Standard plan users
- Cannot collaborate with others in projects
- Can only find candidates on their own
- To join a project, they must get a Professional plan or be unassigned from their Standard plan
How to view your projects
Follow these steps to find and manage your projects:
- Sign in to your Indeed Employer account.
- Go to the Smart Sourcing page.
- Click the Projects tab.
- Select a project.
Inside each project, you will see two groups of candidates:
- Matched candidates: These are suggested by Indeed based on what you do in the project. You can save their resumes or reach out to them.
- All candidates: These are the people you have contacted. You can filter them by status, such as "Awaiting response" or "Interviewed."
How to invite a teammate to a project
- Sign in to your Indeed Employer account.
- Click or tap Smart Sourcing on the left.
- Select the Projects tab.
- Find the project you want to collaborate in. You can either:
- Click the three dots next to the project and select Share project, or
- Open the project and click the Share Project button at the top right.
- Select the emails of the people you want to collaborate with.
- Click or tap Share.
You can only collaborate with people who are already on your Indeed account. Once you share a project, you cannot unshare it.
Your teammates will get an email or notification.
- If they have a Professional plan, they can click to start collaborating with you.
- If they have a Standard plan, they will be asked to upgrade before they can join.
