Single-Source Feed Policy (Effective March 31, 2026)
Indeed is updating how jobs are sent to our platform. This will help employers hire faster and give job seekers a better experience. This policy applies to employers and agencies that send jobs through a single-source feed.
Starting March 31, 2026, jobs sent through single-source XML feeds will no longer appear for free if they can be sent through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Policy details
What's changing
Indeed is standardizing how jobs are delivered to our platform. This update helps improve job quality and make hiring easier for employers.
Benefits:
- Reduces duplicate or outdated postings
- Keeps job details accurate and consistent
- Gives candidates a smoother, faster application experience
Here's what you need to know
If your ATS is integrated with Indeed, you must use that integration to post jobs.
Contact your Indeed account manager if your jobs come from an ATS, but you are not using an integration.
Feeds from ATSs without an Indeed integration (for example, Taleo or homegrown systems) are not affected.
Example: Your ATS is not yet integrated with Indeed. This change does not apply to you right now.

Next steps
If you send jobs through a single-source feed:
- Check your ATS. Confirm if your system integrates with Indeed using Indeed's Integrations Hub.
- Plan your migration early. Work with your ATS provider or ad agency to move to an ATS integration as soon as possible.
- Make job updates at scale. Agencies can use the Job Update API to edit titles, descriptions, and campaign details.
