Indeed Analytics for Jobs and Campaigns
Indeed Analytics has a number of features and reports that help you track performance on Indeed. This article focuses on metrics specific to your jobs and campaigns.
Getting started
Here’s how to access the jobs and campaigns dashboard in Indeed Analytics:
- Sign in to your account.
- From the left-hand navigation bar, select Analytics, then Jobs and campaigns.

Metrics
- Impressions: The number of times your Sponsored Job is shown
- Clickthrough rate (CTR): The ratio of impressions to clicks
- Clicks: The number of times a job seeker clicks on your Sponsored Job to view the complete job details
- Apply start rate (ASR): The ratio of clicks to apply starts
- Apply starts: The number of times the Apply button was clicked after clicking on your Sponsored Jobs
- Apply completion rate: The number of completed applications
- Applies: The number of job seekers who applied to your Sponsored Job
- Cost: The cost you have accrued for your Sponsored Job
- Apply rate: The percentage of job seekers who apply after clicking on your Sponsored Job
- Cost per click: The average cost you incur for each click you receive
- Cost per apply start: The average cost you incur for apply starts
- Cost per apply: Your cost divided by the number of applies
Summary View
- The Performance funnel lets you see basic metrics like number of applies, clicks, and impressions.
- Use Traffic to select Organic, Sponsored jobs, or Combined.
- Cost summary shows your total sponsored job spend and broken-down metrics like cost per click.
- Engagement summary shows key metrics over time.
- Desktop vs. mobile clicks highlights the importance of your jobs being mobile-optimized.
- Your highest- and lowest-ranked jobs can help you identify where to make adjustments.
Detailed report
- Metrics over time lets you view and compare a wide range of key metrics over a period of time.
- The Metrics table is filterable and customizable.
- Select the plus button on the top right to add or remove columns.
- Use View By to select how you want the data displayed.
Traffic filters data based on the type of traffic a job received, not the sponsored status of the job. Some jobs can have both sponsored and organic traffic and may show up in all three traffic options. The sponsored and organic views will show only part of a job’s traffic, while the combined view will show all of it.

Answer: Timeliness expectations vary by metric. Here are the estimates for how quickly data will be updated after an action occurs:
- Impressions: within 48 hours
- Sponsored clicks: within 24 hours
- Sponsored apply starts: within 24 hours
- Applies: within 48 hours
- Budget spent: within 24 hours
- All other reporting metrics: within 48 hours
