Setting Up a Sponsored Job Campaign

Campaigns help you manage a group of Sponsored Jobs. You can put multiple jobs into one campaign so they all share a single budget. A campaign also lets you view analytics and reports that track performance. This article provides steps on how to create and edit a Sponsored Job campaign.

Creating a Sponsored Job Campaign

Step 1: Sign up for an employer account or log in

  1. Sign up for an employer account or sign in to your existing account.
  2. Navigate to your employer dashboard.

Step 2: Start a New Campaign

  1. Go to your Campaigns page.
  2. Select the Create campaign button at the top of the page.

Step 3: Select Your Jobs

Choose the jobs you want to include. Set up a campaign manually, with rules, or with a query.

Step 4: Set a Budget and Schedule

Choose from the competitive Plan offerings to maximize performance, or switch to a custom budget that all jobs in the campaign will share. You can set a one-time budget with an end date or a monthly recurring budget.

When setting your budget and schedule, you'll see a budget recommendation. This is to ensure your jobs will be competitive in their market. At lower budget levels, you may see a notification about the expected duration of your budget as it can differ from your intended scheduled duration.

Did you know? Sponsored Job campaigns have a job limit depending on the budget you set. Every job in the campaign works to receive results each day it's active. This means that a low budget relative to the number of jobs in the campaign may be spent before the scheduled end date rather than spread across the full period. You won't be charged more than the budget you set. If you have specific budget questions, reach out to your sales or customer success representative.

Step 5: Edit Advanced Settings

Set start or end dates.

Choose when to start or end the campaign.

Prorate first month.

This will prorate the budget in the first month based on how much time in the month is remaining.

Prorate last month.

This will prorate the budget in the last month based on how much time in the month is scheduled.

Start campaign paused.

Your campaign will not be active or spending until you activate it manually.

Set a spend limit per job.

This allows you to set a per-job budget limit for all of the jobs in the campaign. Spending for each job will stop once the limit is reached.

  • For example, I created a campaign with 5 different jobs with a total budget of $500. With a specified limit of $100 per job, each individual job will cease spending once it reaches the $100 mark.
Did you know? The per-job spend limit will reset monthly on a monthly recurring campaign.

Step 6: Name Your Campaign and Choose Advertising Channels

  1. Set a campaign name. This will help you easily find and manage it later. We recommend using a job title and location along with a unique number.
    1. For example: Registered Nurses - Austin, TX 001
    2. Optional: Add any tracking tokens. If you have third-party tracking tools, you can add tokens to monitor performance.
  2. By selecting Trusted Media Network, your job will appear on our partner websites.

Step 7: Publish Your Campaign

The campaign will begin spending your budget to promote the selected jobs as soon as it's published, or on the day you schedule it to begin.

Editing a Campaign

  1. Navigate to your Campaigns page.
  2. Select the three dots next to the Campaign name and then Edit campaign.
  3. Select Edit full campaign to add or remove jobs from your Campaign.
