Mobile browsers: clearing Chrome and Safari cache and cookies

Clearing your cache and cookies from your Chrome and Safari browsers may fix website issues, speed up your browser and protect your privacy. The steps for desktop and mobile browsers are similar, but there are a few differences. Chrome (mobile)

Clearing browsing data

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right-hand corner.
  3. Tap History.
  4. Tap Delete browsing data.
  5. Please choose a time range. To remove everything, select All time.

Clearing cookies and cached files

  1. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  2. Tap Clear data.

  1. Open your device's Settings app.
