Updating Your Profile Contact Information

New accounts

1. Create an account and verify it. Check your inbox for the email.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Click or tap the plus icon to add your contact information.

Existing accounts

1. Sign in.
2. Go to your Profile tab.
3. Click or tap the contact information under your name.

First and last name

• Your name will be displayed on your profile.
• If you upload a resume, we will prefill this information when you apply for jobs on Indeed.

Phone number

• Communicate easily with employers.
• Your number is only provided to employers you apply or respond to.
• Select Show my number on Indeed to receive calls, texts and WhatsApp messages from Indeed and employers on Indeed.

Learn more

• Choose how Indeed and employers contact you in your communication settings.
• Verify text messages and phone calls claiming to be from Indeed.

Email

• You used your profile email to create and sign in to your account.
• Edit your email from your contact information or your account settings.

Location

Adding these details will help tailor your searches to jobs in your area.

• Change your Country.
• Employers see City and State.
• Say whether you are willing to relocate.

Benefits

Indeed can calculate commute time using your location details.

1. Type your details in the Contact information text fields.
2. After you make changes, click or tap Save.

Now that your contact information is complete, you can continue to fill out your profile.
