Cnc Operator

The purpose of the position is to help produce countertops by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine by maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Major Duties:

  • Converting templates to digital files

  • Utilizing CAD/CAM software to prepare files for cutting

  • Downloading files to machinery

  • Setting up adjust and operate all the basic machine tools and many specified or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.

  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tool, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines

  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

  • Study engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances
