Stan Winston School of Character Arts is an educational media company dedicated to teaching the art and science of character creation. Swsca is partnered with the majority of Hollywood's top effects artists and studios to develop, produce, and distribute ultra-high quality online Creature FX video tutorials teaching the innovative techniques and processes used to create cinema's most memorable characters.
Swsca's online educational content is subscription-based and will cover the full spectrum of character effects, from traditional approaches to the state-of-the-art Hybrid Practical/Digital Approach that has become the cornerstone of today's box office hits.
About This Role
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will assist in organizing email lists, devising persuasive email marketing campaigns, creating email automation and triggers, and helping to make Stan Winston School’s brand voice heard in a competitive online learning market place.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Creating and monitoring a variety of email marketing campaigns
A/B testing and pulling email performance reports
Ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
Proofreading key messaging in and out of email templates
Sending graphics requests to designers
Compiling email lists
Purging email lists
Securing email databases for future campaigns
Tracking and analyzing campaign results
Professional Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
2-3 years of email marketing experience in the online, technology, EdTech industry preferred
Thorough understanding of how to use Mailchimp
Comfortable building email sequences & campaigns
Proven track record of excellent open & click-through rates
Clear and compelling written communication
Ability to work remotely
Basic graphics experience
Analytics-savvy & data-driven
Open to results-oriented collaboration
Good computer and database skills
Is passionate about serving others and thrives in a culture of learning and constant change
