    What you will be doing:

    These deployments focus on rebuilding/reconstruction efforts for anything owned by a government entity such as infrastructure including roadways, bridges, and highways, city/county buildings, school and hospitals. You will be assisting these entities throughout the Fema grants application process. This could include reviewing construction drawings and change orders for large commercial facilities and/or roadways and bridges to provide technical guidance/recommendations, review/conduct site inspections; validate damages; record detailed damage descriptions, scopes of work and cost estimates; and evaluate projects for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering

  • Ability to commit to 6 or 12 month assignments (You decide what assignments you’re interested in)

  • Ability to travel

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Woodside Electronics is seeking a mechanical engineer to help us develop and improve our camera systems. The team you will be joining has been tasked with pushing the boundaries of our sorting technology. We give farmers and processors the tools they need to feed the world.

    Your role:

    As a mechanical engineer you will work closely with electrical engineers and product managers to design components for camera systems, redirect assemblies, and product handling. You will be joining a small team, consisting of four other engineers.

    Your duties might include:

  • Design sheet metal parts

  • Design injection molded parts

  • Design pneumatic assemblies

  • Design optical assemblies

  • Travel may be necessary during harvest to facilitate new product deployment

  • Communicate effectively with purchasing and manufacturing to ensure proper production

  • Order and assemble prototypes for testing
