  • Using technical equipment to safely draw blood from patients

Specimen Collector/Phlebotomist

Monday - Friday 8-5 1hr Lunch


  • Provide instruction to patients on how to provide urine, oral and blood (phlebotomist only) specimens.

  • Proper labeling of specimens, completion of requisitions and all other needed information.

  • Prepare specimens and requisition forms, including packaging of the specimens into biohazard bags for shipping.

  • Responsible for ensuring samples are shipped to lab in the appropriate amount of time and supporting records/manifests are maintained.

  • Obtain billing information, including copies of patient insurance cards and demographic information.

  • Ensuring the accurate completion of requisitions forms and assisting with all missing information requests when needed.

  • Confirming reports are generated by laboratory for specimens processed and facilitating inquiries to laboratory.

  • Thorough knowledge of all processes and will act as liaison between clinic and laboratory.


  • No previous experience required for specimen collector.

  • Phlebotomists should be trained and proficient in venipuncture for the collection of blood samples.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and courteously.

  • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time.

    We are looking for over 10+ Phlebotomists to hire within the next week or much sooner. This position is for a new mobile Phlebotomty company with headquarters based out of Encino. We are willing to pay per the hour, or a percentage per patient seen (we are expecting 20-30 patients per phlebotomists per day) - this can be negotiated prior to hiring.

    Our company is the next big breakthrough in the Medical Industry. This company is a Concierge service that has a clientele that includes High Profile individuals and Celebrities. We will be working with the top doctors in the LA area.

    We are looking for Phlebotomists to cover the areas of LA, Inland Empire, Orange County, Santa Barbara, and San Diego. Our company will dispatch you to areas you live in, near, or distances you feel comfortable commuting too. Depending on whether you choose the hourly rate or percentage pay, driving expenses will be paid for.
