Although Realtors and Real Estate Agents qualify to complete the same job duties, there are distinct differences between the two roles. The main differences between Realtors and Real Estate Agents are the types of employment they qualify for and the credentials they hold. For example, Real Estate Agents take and pass their state’s Real Estate Agent examination to receive their real estate license. This qualifies them to work for real estate agencies or Realtor firms.
