Frequently asked questions

What happens to applicants that are “rejected” because they do not have my exact requirements?

When candidates indicate that they do not meet your deal breaker applicant qualifications, candidates will be marked as rejected but will still be available in employer accounts. You have the option to go back and take a second look at these applications if needed.

Can applicants skip over my questions and apply without providing a response?

Applicants cannot skip over the built-in screening questions provided by Indeed, which require a response. If you choose to add your own screening questions to the application, applicants can potentially leave those blank and still submit their application.

Is there a cost to use assessments in my job post?

Unlike other behavioral and skills-based tests available to employers, assessments on Indeed are free to use at any time.
