You can also browse top-paying careers by industry or company, or even check the average salary for a role in a specific city on Indeed’s Salary database. Knowing this information provides you with a foundation to better understand the job market, negotiate a raise, or finalize a job offer.

Minimum base pay
You deserve to get paid fairly for the work that you do. When you set your minimum pay preference, Indeed highlights which job posts meet your pay expectations, so you can focus your search on the jobs that meet your needs.

- Go to your profile at profile.indeed.com.
- Click Job Preferences, then click +Pay to add your minimum base pay preference.
- Set your minimum pay per hour, day, week, month or year.
