We are looking to fill positions for Production Line Lead on the following shift.
- 1st Shift - Monday -Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm pay rate $20.00.

Position Title: Production Line Lead
Position Purpose: The Production Lead responsibility is to maintain rates & goods meet customer’s specifications, GMPS and internal SOPs. Keep safety & Quality to the highest.
Required Skills:

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow production schedule provided by planning department to check lines.
- Plan ahead new jobs as per schedule
- Obtain Documentation from Planning Supervisor/or designee and ensure the BOM and specs are correct for the new job.
- Review First Article ahead of time.
- On new jobs staring up, make samples before QL & personnel comes to the line or next shift starts.
- Inspect date code, expiration, record inspection on the “Production lines Daily checklist.”(Quality and safety) and ensure Line set-ups are done efficiently, Quality Leaders have the correct amount of people and every person is performing the right task as per specifications given.
- Provide information, documentation and proper tools to the Quality Leader to perform the job.
- Review rate data jet report form every 2 hours making sure quantities, hours & RPO’s are correct
- Verify the Attendance List of personnel amount match with the amount of personnel on the Rate Data jet Report.
- Send the Rate jet Data Report via email (Jet Report) at the end of the shift, making sure information is accurate.
- Maintain a safe work environment by educating and directing personnel on the proper use of all equipment.
- Provide safety gear to employees when needed, make sure employees are wearing them.
- Work together with Quality Leaders to make sure assembly lines are clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate any changes and updates the next shift
- Make sure that at the start up of next shift, the jobs that have been running are started in company with the next shift.
- Work together with other departments to accomplish the highest quality of goods, maintain accurate reconciliations.
- Work together with set up mechanics in the set-up of new jobs.
- Work together with Human Resource to maintain policies within the employees.
- Work together with Quality Department to make sure correct Batch Record documentation is obtained.
- Work together with mechanics and Quality Leaders to make sure jobs are set properly.
- Read and response to e-mails request in a timely manner.
- Provide and keep updated planning department via e-mail on any changes or last minute updated about a job
- Make sure personnel are wearing proper safety gear such as gloves, lab coat, sleeves, and safety glasses. Check for this on daily basis & discipline personnel when required, Following the disciplinary action process.
- Check computers w/ most recent folders up to date & functionally, presence of key boards & scanners.
- Record incidents, assist injured personnel .Hand incident reports to production coordinator & follow up injured personnel.Required Functions
- Arrive 20 minutes before shift starts.
- Lead personnel.
- Provide tools to the Quality Leader to perform the job in safety and quality manners.
- Work over time (extended hours, Saturdays and Sundays).
- Follow GMP &Company policies.
- Keep safety to the highest level.
- Discipline Quality Leaders when necessary and support them to discipline line workers when necessary.(safety & Quality area )
- Work with other production leads to make sure of a smooth transition between shifts.
- Strong bridge of communication between Quality, Inventory & human Resource department towards production.
- Back Up of Production Supervisor and provide Quality Leader Support.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, or/and 3 years of experience on the field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree
Special Requirements
- Walking and standing long periods of time.
- Lifting 20 pounds minimum
