Full job description

Position: Grades 3–5 Instructional Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Hours: 20 hours/week

Job Summary:
Support the Learning Coach in small group instruction, classroom routines, and academic interventions for upper elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student engagement and behavior
  • Assist with academic tasks, including reading and math support
  • Help prepare materials and learning spaces

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in educational settings
  • Organized and student-focused
  • Fingerprint clearance required or willing to obtain

Expectations at SMA:
Serve as a reliable and encouraging classroom presence. Help foster academic confidence and classroom structure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
