LGS Technologies offers a full range of capabilities under one roof. We cover a wide variety of custom fabricated services including custom die-cutting (steel rule and rotary), waterjet cutting, laser cutting, EDM cutting, CNC routing, as well as CNC turning and machining. We also provide hard-to-find services including laminating, skiving, slitting, kitting and sub-assemblies. LGS strives to serve as our customers ONE STOP SOURCE for fabricated components.

SUMMARY

Operates machinery to modify and change the shape and nature of metal, plastic, rubber materials to produce quality parts according to a schedule. Check machinery for cleanliness and proper working order makes adjustments as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates a limited number of machines/presses including WaterJet-Flow or Punch Press-Pace-Rotary in the manufacture of products.
Understand basic blueprints and use measuring instruments.
Verify material, prints, tools, and dies per work order.
Be familiar with and apply basic Statistical Process Control in the manufacture of parts.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
Maintains clean and orderly work area.
Perform other duties of related nature as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent
Limited experience as an assembler or in production. Works under close supervision.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
