We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager for our state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing facility in Dixon, Illinois.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates maintenance, engineering and other maintenance services, such as utilities and building services, including settings short and long term targets for Maintenance department.
  • Monitors performance of Maintenance team to ensure targets are met.
  • Continuous improvement of maintenance process and departmental staff members.
  • Progress best maintenance practices including preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Manage maintenance budget, reporting, work order system and spare parts inventory.
  • Coordinate contracts for maintenance services and investment projects.
  • Coordinate maintenance and investment planning/scheduling.
  • Coordinate project management for minor investments.
  • Manage technical documentation and software archives.
  • Maintenance and engineering resource management.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation related to equipment maintenance, process, performance, etc., analyze as appropriate to determine and capitalize on best practices.
  • Prepare Minor Operative investment proposals and budgets, and provide general oversight of approved projects.
  • Acts as alternate Emergency Coordinator responsible for coordinating all response measures in the event of an emergency at the facility in accordance with the Hazardous Waste Management Facility Contingency Plan.
  • Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: CANDIDATES MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related area and a minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance and engineering functions in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper or converting industry. Experience with high-speed, web-handling equipment strongly desired. Must have strong demonstrated leadership skills. Must have comprehensive knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems and the effective maintenance of those. Should have practical maintenance and project work experience using AutoCAD and MS Project tools. Requires practical experience with CMMS as well as variety of electronics office tools. Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to relate well to a wide range of constituents. Must be able to function well as a member of a team and a team leader. Previous project team experience required, international projects preferred.
