Roll Forming Corporation leads the custom roll forming industry in technology development, has integrated internal tool building, and operates five plants in which coil strip is formed into open and welded custom shapes and tubes, utilizing a variety of roll miss, many of which are fitted with the state of the art prenotching equipment, providing a diversified customer base with complex, high quality products, at a low overall cost.

Job Skills/Requirements

Seeking a skilled machine operator, who under general supervision, and after completion of required training, performs in a variety of production roles, serving as a utility person to fill in for any possible vacancies due to absenteeism, vacations, or increases in work volume and will train others on the production processes of the equipment. This will include setting up tools and dies for roll lines, presses, roll reducer or slitting machinery and any other equipment, including driving forkli Seeking a skilled machine operator, who under general supervision, and after completion of required training, performs in a variety of production roles, serving as a utility person to fill in for any possible vacancies due to absenteeism, vacations, or increases in work volume and will train others on the production processes of the equipment. This will include setting up tools and dies for roll lines, presses, roll reducer or slitting machinery and any other equipment, including driving forklifts when needed. With training, this person must demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment to meet customer specifications, which can involve more complicated parts, assemblies and handling a large variety of parts that require some fitting, adjusting or tighter tolerances. Also performs duties pertaining to heat treating of material in heat treating furnaces, baths, and quenching equipment to alter physical and chemical properties of metal objects and material using specifications and methods of controlled heating and cooling.

Successful candidates will have:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible work hours in order to train others, cover vacations or vacancies or to meet increased production demands.
  • 1 to 3 months related experience (machine set-up, metal fabrication or metal forming, roll forming). Must be able to obtain and carry RFC forklift certification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and perform quality inspections
  • Ability to effectively train others
  • Ability to use computer and manufacturing software
