Full job description

The Account Executive is responsible to develop customer relationships and service customers through phone, e-mail, customer visits and trade show attendance as needed. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for designing, quote building, and project management of custom wholesale signs while developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. The majority of leads are generated through the cultivation of an extensive base of sign company clients that need a wholesale supplier. The ability to respond to leads requires extensive knowledge of the company's full product line, capabilities for customization and the mastery of costing models to develop responses to requests for quotes. Follow up on quotes, determine additional customer needs or objections and recommend potential solutions or incentives to the company's Senior Management to close the sale. Inspect completed signage to identify any quality defects prior to crating and shipping. Work with production and the customer to resolve any quality related concerns that may arise in a manner that insures a satisfied customer at the lowest cost to Hanson Sign. Follow up with customers and the Business Management when needed to secure late payments. Serve as the backup for Senior Sales Management when needed. Always present a professional image of the company to customers.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has strong communication skills. Attention to detail is critically important as well as the ability to work with others in a team environment. Multitasking is essential.

- Will work with clients to design, provide estimates, and deliver high quality custom signage

- Has the ability to understand and produce technical drawings

- Is experienced in project management

- Is capable of generating sales that rank in the top 2 to 3 in the company

- Can carry out the marketing plan and work without supervision, implement all details to properly execute regional or national trade shows

- Has a valid driver's license

- Possesses the ability to resolve issues for customers in the most cost effective way for both Hanson and the customer.

- Is skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, knowledge in general office equipment: fax, copiers, calculator, credit card processing.

- Holds an Associates degree or higher

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
