ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

POSITION OVERVIEW

The candidate holding this position will have several years experience and a proven, successful track record working within a marketing/advertising role. Knowledge or experience within the Country Club, Golf, Homebuilding and/or Automotive industries is preferred.

The Account Executive will initiate partnerships with potential clients as well as be the direct liaison between the client and the agency - managing the client relationship, projects and initiatives. This person will be responsible for communicating with the client to obtain all of their marketing/advertising needs and then relaying the direction to the internal creative teams. The Account Executive will be working with clients to develop a campaign that meets their needs as well as fits their budget and will be in charge of ensuring all deadlines are met and campaigns are running successfully. This role will require the ability to successfully focus the efforts of agency personnel to ensure projects are on time, within budget and with limited disruption.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plays key role in maintaining relationship between Media and Key Agency Clients.
  • Meets with Clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements and present campaign ideas.
  • Actively participates in internal project reviews providing strategic guidance and representing the voice of the client.
  • Generates proposals for new client business, laying out marketing strategies.
  • Reviews vendor quotes and bills.
  • Collaborates with all departments needed to create an advertising campaign that meets the Client’s brief and budget.
  • Acts as the direct link between Key Agency Clients and Agency departments by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively daily or as needed.
  • Proofs and presents creative work to Clients for approval or modification.
  • Works closely with Account Coordinator and/or Account Executive(s) to mentor and grow skill set to advance their own career within the company.
  • Handles budgets, manages Client costs, and creates billable PO’s for invoicing.
  • Prepares weekly status reports, managing Client hours.
  • Stays current of new business opportunities.
  • Flexible to changing policies and procedures, as well as varying deadlines.
