Duft Watterson in Boise, ID 83702

Full job description

We’re looking for a good-natured, hard-charging agency account manager.

We’re Duft Watterson, an award-winning shop headquartered in Boise, with an office in San Francisco (2020 Ad Age Agency of The Year, Outside Magazine Best Places to Work, etc.). We’re on the hunt for an account manager to join our forward-leaning team of marketing writers, artists, strategists and digital experts.

You are?

A good-natured, team-playing, detail-oriented account manager or project manager with deep experience at an advertising/design/digital agency or inside a high-performing marketing department. You’re an insightful self-starter who values inclusivity and a culture of trust. You’ll jump in to help wherever needed and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and on target.

You have a unique skill set including…

  • Managing projects and taking on client’s goals and success as your own.
  • You’re a skilled project manager that tracks every aspect of every project and instinctually knows exactly where all projects are at all times.
  • Nurturing excellence and collaborating with the team to ensure marketing exceeds client expectations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships and outreach that inspire trust and respect.
  • A willingness to dive in, absorb and conduct research to gain a clear understanding of business plans.
  • Working seamlessly in a cross-functional team.
  • Embracing best practices and offering innovative ideas for approaching communication challenges.
  • Successfully implementing marketing plans and measuring activity against goals.
  • Ensuring the quality of materials and that they are on time and on-budget delivery.
  • Comfort working with remote teams, both internally and with clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited university.
  • DNA to “manage up,” not just check off boxes.
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing account management or project/product management.
  • A self-starter who wants to dig in, stay busy and help the team thrive.
  • A strong desire to continue learning.
  • Excellent writing, editing and research skills.
  • A can-do attitude that looks for solutions in challenging situations.
  • Proven attention to details.

We prefer you live in Boise, but will consider other locations.
