Compounding Solutions is a leading manufacturer of custom thermoplastic materials, primarily supporting the medical device industry. Our manufacturing site in Lewiston, Maine supplies the largest medical companies located here in the US and 22 countries worldwide. We seek an experience customer service candidate to train to become an Account Support Specialist that will support the rapid growth of our manufacturing capabilities. This is NOT cold-calling work; we produce plastic compounds to our customers' specifications. Candidates should be motivated team players. Customer Service knowledge is preferred. Responsibilities include by not limited to: fulfill sales quotes submitted by Sales Team, issuing detailed quotes & proposals, acknowledge purchase orders & send confirmations to customers, prepare & process sale orders, track on-time/late shipments, communicate with Sales Managers regarding order & delivery status, data management, be a liaison between account manager & customer, maintain current accurate customer files & information, and perform other duties required in collaboration with the Sales Team.

A Successful Candidate should have the following skill sets:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science
  • 3 years of related experience in customer service
  • Exhibit degree of professionalism
  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • able to handle multi-task and prioritize
  • Skillful at promoting ideas
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel

Pay:

Based on Experience level in Customer Service and Education
