Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate full time IOP Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and support groups to enhance clients' coping skills and resilience.
- Conduct case management activities, including coordination of resources, referrals, and follow-up services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
- Provide appropriate documentation and record keeping in compliance with state, federal and accreditation regulations.
- Complete all intake, level of change, and discharge assessments and tasks, including checklists.
- Create and implement treatment plan goals and objectives, pulling from client’s own words and measurable objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed Therapist or Social Worker (LPC, LCSW, LAC or LMFT).
- Experience in treating substance use disorders, behavioral disorders, and intimacy disorders.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
