As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding displays.
• Stock shelves as needed and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to effectively upsell products and promote sales initiatives.
• Strong supervisory skills are a plus, with the ability to guide new team members as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $12.13 - $12.76 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
